Affirmative Action/EEO Compliance Monitoring

Bradford Construction Corporation is monitoring minority and women inclusion goals and Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance on construction projects throughout New York City.

Bradford is providing Affirmative Action and/EEO monitoring and oversight services to the New York State Office of General Services (OGS).  Bradford is helping maintain and enforce New York’s diversity inclusion rules for the construction field by directly supervising job sites for proper compliance with laws for MWBE participation on public projects.

Currently, Bradford is overseeing Affirmative Action/EEO compliance at two OGS project sites:

  • Gut renovation of the New York State Department of Labor building at 250 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn, NY (project CM is Hill International)
  • Interior and exterior renovations to the Kingsboro Alcoholism Treatment Center in Brooklyn, NY (project CM is URS Corporation)

Bradford reviews and evaluates compliance issues that arise with contractors and subcontractors in connection with these projects, and reports its findings to OGS’s Bureau of Contract Compliance. Bradford’s Affirmative Action/EEO monitoring work is expanding Bradford’s role in New York as a preeminent proponent for minority and women workers, professionals and businesses.
