Alan Senzer named Senior Program Manager

Alan Senzer has been named Senior Program Manager for Branford’s Construction Management Mentorship Program for the New York City Department of Small Business Services.  In his new position, Mr. Senzer will provide overall program management and planning responsibilities for the creation of this groundbreaking 3 year program.  Among the issues Mr. Senzer will address are:

  • Help access to exclusive contracting opportunities with:
    • NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD)
    • NYC Department of Environment Protection (DEP)
    • NYC Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR)


  • Assistance & Education
    • A customized growth plan developed with a construction management firm
    • Access to classroom instruction
    • On-the-job training for contract winners

Mr. Senzer is a senior construction executive and an expert in curricula development about construction technology.  Courses he has developed include Sustainable Architecture, which provides students with a detailed overview of sustainable, or “green,” architecture; and Estimating for Building Construction.   Mr. Senzer also has a substantial background of diversified professional experience with the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA), with responsibilities encompassing supervision of senior NYCSCA project officers, construction field personnel and all facets of construction management.

Mr Senzer has an B.A., Architecture, City College of New York School.
